The Coordinator of the program Dr Jayshree Singh, Dept. of English, BNU Udaipur reported that on 10th December, 2021 an online congress was organised through googlemeet to mark the 73rd commemoration anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations Organisation. The online event on 10 December 2021was presided by BNU President - Professor N. B. Singh, and the Guest of Honour was the BNU Registrar Sh Parbat Singh Rathore. The Chairperson Sh Pradeep Singh Singoli, the Secretary Dr Mahendra Singh Agaria and the Managing Director Sh Mohabbat Singh Rathore of Bhupal Nobles Sansthan also graced the event as Special Guests. The honourble resource persons were Mr Sarthak Roy, IHRC Consultant, Geneva, Switzerland. In his address entitled "India's Contribution towards Human Rights" he referred to the architects of India in the making of UDHR in 1948. He alleged that challenges regarding sustainability and labour dignity still immensely require attention because of the changing scenario of the post- covid pandemic that still lingers on with its threat on humanity. Mr Shabarinath Nair, Labour Migration Specialist, ILO, DWT, Geneva & New Delhi. In his address entitled "Perspectives on Migration and Labour Policy Issues", he detailed about the reasons and nature of Migration, as well as he pointed out how necessary the technical advisory services on behalf of the inter-governmental negotiations are with regard to decent work and employment in the transnational context for migrants, especially if they wish to follow right to movement, right to return and right to entry or not to get trapped in nexus of cross-border, inter-governmental and local natives structural pattern. The Chief Guest of the event was Professor Dinesh Singh, Former Vice Chancellor Delhi University, Distinguished Chair AICTE, Adjunct Professor Houston University, USA, Chancellor K. R. Mangalam University, New Delhi. In his address entitled " Mahatma Gandhi and Human Rights", he well-espoused the contribution of Mahatma Gandhi in the formation of value-laden life to create the spirit of Human Rights by professing the doctrines of the scripture Bhagawat Gita. Professor Dinesh Singh emphasized upon resurgence of traditional wisdom to transcend the tyranny of expansionism in order to re-establish compassion for all life-forms and life's truths. The key note address was given by Professor Salvatore Tolone Azzariti,, Civil Law, University of Oxford, England, UK and Buenos Aires, Argentina. In his address entitled " Human Rights and Civil Rights in Context" - Indirect Third Party Efficacy (Mittelbare Drittwiekung) in Private Law. He focused about how subjective equations classify The antithetical situations which subsequently arises manifestations of various nature viable to either civil or criminal liability in private law, hence evade human protection and application of legal implication becomes intricate, subtle and tough, hence effective models of Constitution should be constructed in private law. The Vote of thanks was extended to honourable speakers and attendees by Dr Kamal Singh Rathore, PRO BNU Udaipur. He extended gratitude for the support given by the Dean, Faculty w Science Dr Renu Rathore and Dr Devendra Sisodia, Dean Faculty of Social Science and PG Research Studies.
